The Authority of the Bible

• The Bible is the Word of God. (2Timothy 3:16-17)

• The Bible is our final authority for faith and living. (Deuteronomy 4:2; Deuteronomy 12:32; John 8:31-32)

What We Believe about God

• There is only one God, existing in 3 persons. (John 14:23; John10:30; Isaiah 48:12; Isaiah 48:16-17; Matthew 28:19)

• He is the Creator of all things. (Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16-17)

• He revealed Himself in perfect love. (1John 4:8; 1John 4:10-16)

• He is righteous in all HIs ways. (Psalm 145:17; Deuteronomy 32:4)

• He has total knowledge of all things. (Psalm 147:5)

What We Believe about Jesus Christ

• Jesus is truly God and truly man. (John 1:1-4,14)

• He eternally existed before becoming man. (John 1:1-3; John1:14; Hebrews 13:8)

• He was born, the son of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew11:20-23)

• He lived a sinless life. (2Corinthians 5:21)

• He gave his life and died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins of those who put their faith in Him. (Titus 2:14; 1John 1:9; 1John 2:2)

• He arose from the dead after 3 days to show his power and message. (1Corinthians 15:2-22)

• He ascended into heaven to prepare a place for us who have trusted in Him. (John 14:1-6)

• He is now in heaven praying for us. (Romans 8:34; 1John 2:1; Hebrews 7:25)

What We Believe about the Holy Spirit

• He persuades people to repent of their sins and confess Jesus as Lord. (John 16:7-13)

• He enters the life of every believer the moment the person believes in Jesus. (John 3:6-8; Ephesians 1:13-14; 1Corinthians 2:13)

• He teaches and guides the believers. (John 16:13-14)

• He enables us to live a godly and holy life that conforms us to Christ. (Romans 8:1-14; Ephesians 5:17-21)

We Believe Man Needs Salvation

• All men and women were created in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26-27)

• Through Adam’s sin, all people became sinners. (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12)

• Because of sin, man is separated from God. (Genesis 3:8-10; Genesis 3:23-24; Romans 3:10; Romans 3:12; Romans 3:18)

• Salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. (Romans 6:22-23)

• Repentance brings us back to God. (1John 1:9)

• Only through Christ can we stand before God. (John 14:6; Acts 4:12)
